Coralcouk – Boxing

Coraluk – After spending a lot of the last few years really finding a passion for Boxing I have decided to write a few notes about the sport and what I think about it.

Boxing isn’t really seen by everyone as a sport because many people think it is too brutal but I honestly can’t see the problem, yes two people are in a ring with the intention of punching the other one but they do wear gloves, there is a referee, there are breaks, they have their own corners and of course there is a ringside doctor if needed. The U.K have produced some amazing boxing talent over the last 15 years or so ranging from the cocky fighters like Chris Eubank and Prince Naseem Hamed, the clever fighters like Nigel Benn and Ricky Hatton to the bright quick youngster like recent hero Amir Khan. Maybe it’s heavyweight boxing you’re into like Lennox Lewis or how about the greatest boxer in the history of the sport Joe Calzaghe, 48 professional fights with 48 wins, many of which were against competitors who were being dubbed “The next big thing”.

Most professional boxing matches are consisted of twelve three minutes rounds with a 60 second break between every round, this gives the fighters an opportunity to gain advice, get wiped down, have a drink, help any cuts etc. You can win a match in different ways, the most impressive being called a ‘knockout’, this is where your opponent is in no fit state to continue. You can also win on points, points are decided by three impartial judges sat at ringside. A match can end in a draw if points are level. coralcouk

MEBET- Cheltenham

Posted by Trix @ 12:00 AM, Tuesday Mar 24th, 2009

Every year when the race diary is released for a season, there are three dates that everybody heads straight for, one of them being the Grand National, secondly is the Derby and finally is the big one, the Cheltenham Festival. Millions of pounds are bet every year during Cheltenham week with the Gold Cup on the final day being the main race in the week. This week is an absolute dream for the bookmakers and this is why you see the ones who don’t advertise as much or as big really come out of the woodwork.
This advert is for MEBET and was taken from the Metro which is a free daily newspaper and is distributed all over the UK. They are promoting their own website MEBET in this ad and are offering the chance to win a pair of VIP tickets for the Cheltenham Gold Cup which is on the final day of Cheltenham week. They have a fantastic offer in this advert where they double your bet for up to £50, for example, bet £25 on a race and they will credit you with a bet worth £50. To take part you need to visit the website which no doubt will be packed of other offers and promotions.

Gala Coral (established in 1926) boasts over 1600 UK based licensed betting offices as well as two online sports betting websites, coralcom (for UK customers) and Eurobet.com (in 17 languages for International customers). Coral currently offer betting on the usual range of sports including horse racing, greyhounds, football, golf, tennis, cricket and much more.

For new customers, Coral also offer a welcome bonus of £10. To claim this free bet, visitors who have not yet joined the site are required to register, deposit funds using a good variety of payment methods and then place a sports bet of at least £10. In addition to the welcome bonus and in the run up to Cheltenham, customers will also be pleased to hear that they can get a free £1 bet on the Coral Cup if they play in Coral’s Cheltenham Poker tournament.

Coral is synonymous with horse racing, with its foundations being built on offering the best range of betting markets for both flat and jump racing. As well as having a huge range of markets including the usual forecast, tricast and totepool betting, coralcom have also just launched an enhanced race card which comes in handy when gathering information before placing your bets.

Personally, when I place a bet I love to watch the event unfold and so another great feature on Coral’s website is their ‘Racing UK’ product which allows you to watch racing from all RUK racetracks after placing a £1 bet on the race of your choice.

Posted by Trix @ 12:00 AM, Thursday Mar 12th, 2009

If there was ever a website that was looking forward to the Cheltenham Horse racing festival that is now not far away than it has to be Coral.co.uk. All new customers can now utilise a fabulous free 25 pound given to you from Coral by just registering with the website using the code CHELTPRO in the bonus code section of the signing up form but REMEMBER this offer has a limited time on it so hurry all Horse racing fans and get some free money to gamble on the horses you fancy over the sticks at the biggest jump festival anywhere in the world.

BET NOW

Corals also have prices on every race throughout the glorious four days of racing on their ante post horse racing section on their home page so if you like the look of a horse then take a look at what Corals has offered at the moment.
With all the other Sports that Corals offer regular bets with throughout the day and night coupled with a cracking free radio service that regularly updates all the up to the minute news on all the big upcoming action whether it be Horse racing or a big Football match you can be sure that this website is possibly the nearest thing you will find to actually sitting in a bookies.

For those punters that like to bet on the spur of the moment then I think you will find the next 5 betting offers that Corals operates something you will like as it is purely random sports that are next on the clock you are betting on.
But on the whole I feel Corals are really starting to look after the punter a lot more than they once they did and are a site that is on the up so take a look.

This advert was taken from The Sun newspaper and again was pulled out of the sports section of the paper and it is for betting giants Coral. Coral are one of the nations leaders in the betting industry, not only on the high street but also online and with offers and odds like the ones shown in this advert, we can see why they have as many members both new and existing as they do. I do think they try and push a bit too much into this ad considering the size of it but at the same time it doesn’t look too squashed and they still get the message across. At the top of the advert we see the main offer which is there to attract it’s new potential members, bet £10 and get a free £20 bet, this is for new telephone and online members. The at the bottom of the advert is a number for you to call along with it’s opening times, or the website which is where the majority of the members will go, because a) its easy and b) it’s where you go into much more detail of what you wish to bet. The main body of this advert is taken up by odds on the England- Spain match with odds on the correct score and also on the first goalscorer.
